Gardeners at the National Trust Wimpole Hall have been dutifully answering the call of nature.  It has been found that urine helps activate the composting process and therefore, out of public viewing hours of course, the male members of the gardening team have been doing their bit.

It seems the Blockbuster film, The Day After Tomorrow wasn’t too farfetched after all.  Researchers at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada, have found evidence that the mini ice age that hit the Northern Hemisphere about 12,800 years ago took only months to occur, rather than a decade, as previously estimated.

Mars

Even NASA can get a car stuck in the mud.  Mars rover ‘Spirit’ has been stuck in Martian soil for 6 months.  After months of running simulations and having a good think, the scientists are planning to reverse the vehicle out.  Good luck.
