Applications through UCAS across the country are down 7.4 percent on average
  • The Mancunion spoke to universities throughout the UK to find out how the increase in tuition fees had affected their applications
  • The figures show the change in applications from 2010 (for entry in 2011) to the number of applications in the 2011 application cycle (for entry in 2012), after the increase in undergraduate tuition fees to £9,000 a year
