Aside from all the tabloid headlines of mud and Kate Moss and Pete Doherty and Carl Barat and all that yawn, Glastonbury’s weird weekend of hippy wonder and super orgasmic headliners. “Most of my art is shit, this actually IS shit” - it’s still the best festival experience you can get, even if all the middle-age middle-class goers grumble at its lack of atmosphere. Er?
Highs
- Bjork – a circus stageshow full of colourful pomp.
- Sexpot disco lotharios !!! graced us twofold.
- Mud – great ankle workout and fun with a dinghy.
Lows
- Mud – made journeys slower than the M25.
- Car park chaos.
- More rain + more mud = muddy hell.
