Manchester RAG have just received confirmation that the University Alumni fund will be awarding them £3000 for training and re-branding.
This is the third project related to the Union which has been funded over the last two years. The Alumni fund previously awarded £2000 to Student Action, the UMSU based charity volunteering organization, in order to buy lots of new equipment such soup urns and games equipment.
At the beginning of this academic year the Alumni fund agreed to fund the students with disabilities society 'Abled' for an in-depth guide to accessibility issues in Manchester to the tune of £2000. On behalf of Student Action and Abled a big thank you goes out to the University Alumni fund for their support!
